Trudy Williams (Artistic Director/Curator) and George Boziwick (Curator/Music Director) create and produce entertaining and educational programs using their humanities based public history/public musicology performance model to animate facts and interpretations related to the resources, exhibits, archives and special collections of museums, libraries, educational institutions, and local historic societies.
Each program brings research to the stage in a single setting through the lens of music with an engaging socio-historical narrative, musical and theatrical performances and large screen images of archival documents and artifacts.
Each program brings research to the stage in a single setting through the lens of music with an engaging socio-historical narrative, musical and theatrical performances and large screen images of archival documents and artifacts.
These elements combine to bring the audience on a lively experiential journey that contextualizes and animates fascinating historical and cultural facts and insights, many of which have been dimmed in social memory, overlooked/omitted, or hidden in plain sight.
Programs include an opportunity for audience participation during the show, and conclude with a Q & A, often with a guest expert.
